Ticket Terms And Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to tickets issued by JF Fitness Pty Ltd trading as Golden Gloves Promotions, ABN 91 646 608 611 (“GGP”) for attendance at a professional boxing event promoted by GGP (an “Event”).
  2. These Terms are subject to any express term or condition noted on any ticket or website page describing the Event, or any ticket for the Event.
  3. These Terms may be varied by GGP from time to time by posting updated Terms on this website. When varied, any varied Terms shall apply to tickets sold but not yet used.
  4. Subject to law and anything else in these Terms, a ticket issued by GGP entitles the holder of the ticket entry and to otherwise attend the Event described on the ticket with such restrictions or rights as set out on the ticket, including the type of attendance (eg general admission, reserved, VIP etc).
  5. The ticketholder acknowledges that GGP may change the details of the Event from time to time, including variation of the fight card, changing venue or postponing or cancellation of the event (including without limitation, cancelling during the Event). The ticketholder shall have no claim against the Promoter in relation to such changes except as set out in the Terms below relating to refunds.
  6. Unless otherwise specified on the ticket, tickets sold will be for general admission to the Event. General admission shall entitle the ticketholder to attend the event and access the areas provided for general admission and common areas. Typically, general admission is standing (not seated) and unallocated. However, GGP may provide seating for general admission attendees on an unallocated basis. Where such seating is provided and is limited, ticketholders are required to vacate any seat being used in favour of persons whose physical capabilities require them to be seated and ticketholders shall abide by any direction from GGP regarding the same.
  7. Any person intending to purchase a ticket for a person under the age of 18 years of age should contact GGP regarding the same prior to purchasing any ticket as the licensing requirements of some venues may prohibit or restrict attendance by underage persons.
  8. A ticketholder may not bring to the Event:
    • Any outside food or beverage;
    • Any items prohibited by law including items prohibited from being bought to the Event;
    • Any weapon or potentially dangerous item;
  9. Additionally, a ticketholder may not wear any clothing that is offensive or is prohibited from being warn (such as clothing depicting certain OMCG clubs).
  10. The ticketholder acknowledges that on each entry into the Event premises, the ticketholder will be physically searched, typically via wand and any bags of the ticketholder inspected for any prohibited items.  Entry may be refused to any ticketholder possessing a prohibited item.
  11. On entry into the Event, the ticketholder shall provide to the gate staff of GGP the ticket for verification. Upon verification, the ticketholder may be stamped or provided with a wristband which allows the ticketholder to leave and re-enter the Event and which indicates the areas the ticketholder can access. The ticketholder shall show the stamp/wristband to any representative of GGP, venue staff and security when requested, including upon re-entry into the venue and when seeking to enter a restricted area. Loss/removal of stamp or wristband may lead to re-entry or entry to a restricted area being refused.
  12. The venue for the Event is likely to be a licensed venue with the purchase of alcoholic beverages available at the Event.  Venue staff may require the production of ID when purchasing alcoholic beverages. Additionally, the Event will likely be held in an enclosed building where smoking is not permitted inside the venue.
  13. Continued attendance at the Event is subject to the ticketholder behaving in a satisfactory manner. Should the ticketholder behave in a manner that is unsatisfactory, including engaging in prohibited or illegal activities, being disorderly, being intoxicated or otherwise behaving contrary to these Terms then either GGP, the venue staff, Event security or any other person authorised by law may evict the ticketholder from the Event.
  14. The ticketholder assumes all liability for any injury, loss or damage to person or property suffered by the ticketholder in attending the Event and shall hold GGP harmless in respect of the same.
  15. GGP may via photograph or video record the Event or a part thereof. The ticketholder gives GGP a license in perpetuity to use any such photograph or video that depicts the ticketholder.
  16. Tickets may not be resold without the prior written approval of GGP.
  17. When a ticket is purchased online, an email will be sent to the ticketholder with a link to download the ticket. This download may also be available on completion of the online purchase. The ticketholder shall download the ticket from this link and provide the same on entry to the Event. The ticketholder is solely responsible for entering the correct email address in any online purchase. Emails from GGP may go to the Junk Email folder and online purchasers should check that folder if no email is received in your main mailbox. Should no email for an online order be received or if the download link fails to produce the ticket, please contact GGP.
  18. Physical tickets may also be purchased from GGP at such times and in such manner as advertised by GGP.
  19. The responsibility for loss of any online ticket received or any physical ticket collected by the ticketholder rests solely with the ticketholder.
  20. Information provided in purchasing a ticket, including contact information may be used by GGP:
    • In contacting the ticketholder in relation to the Event,
    • For its own internal purposes, such as analytics and bookkeeping,
    • Where the ticketholder has (and remains) subscribed to receive marketing and promotional materials, to send the ticketholder marketing and promotional materials.
  21. Tickets are non refundable except in the following situations:
    • Where an Event is cancelled or postponed prior to commencement, GGP shall within 7 days of the cancellation or postponement, issue a full refund to all ticketholders. This subclause only applies to postponements that are longer than 14 days after the original scheduled date of the Event.
    • Where an Event is cancelled after commencement, GGP shall, at its discretion, refund a portion of the ticket price that it considers reasonable in the circumstances.
    • In any other case, a ticketholder may request a refund for a ticket/s from GGP indicating the reason for a refund and GGP shall at is discretion determine whether or not to issue a refund. Examples where GGP will usually grant a refund include:
      • Where tickets have been purchased solely to support a particular fighter who was scheduled to fight and that fighter is no longer fighting at the Event,
      • Where there has been a change of venue or short postponement and that change or short postponement makes it impractical for the ticketholder to attend the Event.
  22. Holders of physical tickets that are refunded will need to provide details to GGP to enable such refunds to be affected.
